Expectations
Saria carries dumbo and has blues, pearls, champagnes, and other colors in her pedigree. However, these are all recessive genes and Egon most likely doesn't carry any of these things. Both have a variegated parent, but I am not sure how these marking genes work. So, for this litter, I expect most or all agouti capped standard rats.
As for health and temperment, Egon is second generation born in my rattery, and his grandmother is almost two and still going strong. The rats in his family are all very interested in people, and Egon got a very curious and active nature from his mom. (He's one of the only males I've known that really like running in a wheel). Saria also comes from a good line (I haven't met her relatives personally, but they are all from good breeders) and she is very active and playful too, so I'll probably have a lot of curious, playful little youngsters on my hands.

Eleven healthy babies! No problems or anything. They were born right on schedule. Five are more barebacked. Four are capped with notches. Two are patched. Most are agouti/black, but one is beige and two are fawn. I planned to keep the patched boy and probably one of the fawn/beige girls. I ended up keeping both "blonde" girls. ;)
