A few places online (including ![]() ![]() Pluses: Some of my rats chew on these, and they are fairly cheap. Minuses: I thought they'd be like Greenies, but my rats didn't like them... Where to get it: Many pet stores and grocery stores. ![]() ![]() Pluses: Many of my rats chew on these, and they are easy to find. I have not seen the fruit flavored ones, but I hear most rats prefer them. Minuses: A little expensive and my rats don't like most flavors. (Chicken is the only flavor they will chew on.) ![]() Pluses: Wow! My rats were impressed. I saw madness like has never been seen before here. It was like the mad rush for the "fad" toy at Christmas time! Very popular chew for the rats. Also, good nutrition. Low fat, moderate protein, and rice rather than corn. Minuses: Can't think of any... Where to get it: This was a gift, so I'm not sure where it came from. Look for it! ![]() Pluses: These were cheap, so I gave them a try, even though my rats usually don't like rawhide. What a surprise! They went crazy for these, and they were cheap, too! I suspect it has something to do with the chicken "jerky" that is sort of entwined in the rawhide. My rats chewed these until nothing was left! Minuses: None I can think of... Where to get it: I found them at WalMart and have seen them being sold in pet stores and online at ![]()
![]() Pluses: Every rat I've met loves Yogurt Drops, especially the yogurt, vanilla, and milk and honey ones. Minuses: Many pet stores over-price these, especially the small boxes. Where to get it: Most pet stores. Online at The Ferret Store and ![]()
![]() Pluses: Just as popular with my rats as Vitakraft drops are. They are bigger. My rats prefer the strawberry(hamster) to the berry(rabbit). Minuses: Like all(most?) of Kaytee's products, these contain ethoxyquin, a chemical preservative that is a known carcinogen. Where to get it: Many grocery and department stores. Online at |
